The film feels less like a linear plot and more like a vivid memory. Crowe bathes the scenes in a warm, golden-hour glow that makes everything feel authentic to the 70s era. perfectly capturing the feeling of a summer tour that has to end eventually! ♫⋆｡♪ ₊˚♬ﾟ. Naturally, the music is a character itself. Whether it’s the "Tiny Dancer" bus singalong or the needle drops of Led Zeppelin and The Who, the film understands that music is the glue holding these disparate people together! ♫⋆｡♪ ₊˚♬ﾟ. ​Penny Lane is one of the most relatable and authentic characters in the whole movie. She's desperately trying to find her place in the lifestyle she devotedly loves until the reality of it comes crushing down on her. And I think that's were people can relate to her the most, we all try to find a lifestyle we fit into, but from the outside, it can be difficult to see past facad they put out. ♫⋆｡♪ ₊˚♬ﾟ. The fact that jason Lee is in this and the movie starts with an alvin and the Chipmunks song foreshadowing him in the chipmunks movie 7 years after this movie is crazy! ♫⋆｡♪ ₊˚♬ﾟ. I could never live in a household that bans music, especially Simon and Garfunkel, that would be hell! ♫⋆｡♪ ₊˚♬ﾟ.
