Full Metal Jacket

By far the best war movie I’ve ever seen (not that I’m an expert). Kubrick did such an amazing job in capturing the audience maybe it was just me but I’ve never gone through emotions and realisations at the same time as a character as severely as I did watching this movie. Even though you are obviously very aware of how horrific all the characters and the situation is but it doesn’t fully hit you until Joker makes the realisation as well.
