Dying
One of the most depressing films I’ve seen in a long time. The three-hour viewing felt like a journey through life and death for me.
Not everyone has the talent to live a happy life, nor does everyone have the ability to embracing the conventional, universal, progressive, or societal norms of life and death. The use of musical passages throughout the film might seem ”kitsch”, but it already has profound introspection. The scenes set on Christmas and opening night were especially painful to watch, I felt my guts being twisted.
