The definition of “pay to win”
This is such a unique way of having a superpower, but also with a horrible downside in return. A lot of kids wouldn’t be satisfied with this kind of power, myself included. I was worried every time he used it.
(Once again, this is the story of a guy who uses a superpower, but loses money every time he uses it.)
Still, it was a pretty fun K-drama. It makes you to choose between two important things: saving lives or saving money, and you’re someone who’s trying as hard as possible not to spend money.
I love the character arc of his wife. She loves money the most, but she can’t stand stopping him from saving people. She’s surprisingly reasonable, even though she was extremely mad at first. Happy wife, happy life.
The soundtrack is magnificent. I love it every time they play it, it perfectly matches the tone and mood of the series.
Btw there are some plot holes of this series. The ending wasn’t very good. I was waiting for a climax scene, but instead we just see him standing there like a mannequin, waiting to get punched. Simple like that. It was supposed to be a climax!
Even though the series has a lot of fight scenes, the choreography is mid-level. I can’t fully blame them since the main character isn’t a good fighter, but they could’ve at least been more creative with the choreography. Good VFX tho.
