This film is a masterpiece and I cannot stress that enough. F. Murray Abraham did a fantastic job portraying Salieri, he absorbs what mediocre must've felt like. Admit it, we can relate to Salieri, We are mediocre at what we could consider a talent of ours, there is always someone greater than us, and the role Salieri embraced all that. I love it. This film would certainly catch everyone's attention and even if it is a three-hour-long film, you wouldn't notice it because there is no dead-air. It was engaging and definitely thought-provoking.
"I will speak for you, Father. I speak for all mediocrities in the world. I am their champion. I am their patron saint."
