Satantango

Rip Bela Tarr We are transported into a village that is without god, and I am glad at how it was paced. Too often we can watch a movie, just by looking at somebody else's summary, but with Satantango, we are forces to feel every drawn out walk through a desolate place that has been ruined by the utopian ideas of the soviet government, and is now being ruined by the onslaught of neoliberalism. I love this movie a lot, and its parallels with Satan and Jesus.
