movie of the fucking year. dear academy, is you snub this masterpiece i will be in your walls and you will suffer an eternity of misery.  sincerely, ryann this movie is a masterpiece. what cynthia, ariana, and john managed to do with an already incredible musical should be studied. they brought it to life and honed in on the points the stage musical can’t do enough justice to simple because of time and medium restraints. the depiction of racism, performative ally ship, gaslighting, and the power of propaganda. FUCK this is the best movie i’ve seen in so long. I need it injected into my veins and i also need to inhale it like it’s fucking cocaine. I am going to see this movie as many times as i possibly can. also at #THAT moment i literally went “omg ariana what are you doing here” like bitch i was gagged MOVIE OF THE YEAR.
