- Movie 23 of trying to watch 100 anime/foreign animated movies - ——————- Rewatch: ❌ Got to see in cinema ✅ Language watched in: English Dub ————————— Double billed with Bleach movie - two episodic movies in a day! This was my preferred of the two. VERY GOOD FIRST 2 EPISODES. I loved them, the styling, the dub, just everything. The fake grain and film filter was an added touch, really adds to the style, and the dub was JUST SO GOOD, Suzie really adds to Mokoto's character, I will be watching the series in it from now. ———————- Source: 2K DCP

- Movie 23 of trying to watch 100 anime/foreign animated movies - ——————- Rewatch: ❌ Got to see in cinema ✅ Language watched in: Japanese ————————— Look... I'm SURE the series is great, but a cinema can really impact the way you see a film. It just smelt SO bad in there. The animation was stunning, the audio was not unfortunately, these episodes were definitely not mixed for theatres at all which makes me a bit sad, a lot of these fights should've been rumbling beneath my seat. And the fanservice... right, the fanservice, I'm usually fine with fanservice in anime, I've watched enough anime in my lifetime to know, it just happens. But turns out, when you're watching fanservice next to a guy who's quite blatantly hiding his boner with his hat, it becomes mighty uncomfortable! The movie was good itself, I had plans to rewatch it, hopefully to bump up the rating, but I could never make the time unfortunately, maybe I'll get around to watching the screener at some point and see if it changes, the animation and the battles were enticing me enough for a rewatch. I didn't care about how it ended, I've seen enough of these episode movies, to know what they actually are, 3 episodes stitched together, ———————- Source: 2K DCP

- Movie 22 of trying to watch 100 anime/foreign animated movies - ——————- Rewatch: ❌ Got to see in cinema ✅ Language watched in: Japanese (English AND Chinese subtitles) ————————— Ok, so I saw this after a double bill with TADC: TLA - now, I've SEEN 4 Conan movies, 3 being theatrically, and this one wasn't the weakest, but I preferred Movie 28 over this one, the animation was stunning on a big screen as usual, and I'm happy that Trinity is bringing these over just a month after it's release in Japan. The bike action was cool, also nice to see that one Akira slide, Movie characters were good - I preferred Movie 28's characters, especially that fake out lol, but this movie wasn't bad by any means. ———————- Source: 2K DCP
