Silence

Martins Scorsese’s MASTERPIECE. Arguably his best ever film along side after hours to me. A near perfect story on the deconstruction of faith and religion as a whole.  By far scorseses most beautiful film visually as the cinematography is up there with the very best ever put to screen with the Japanese landscapes. And the shot with him seeing Jesus within himself in the water scene is up there with the most impactful ever.
