honestly this only gets stars because i actually didn’t expect Mr Orange to be the cop and the acting was good, there was just so much unecessary waffle in this movie i got bored so quick and yes my attention span is usually fine

controversial but i find this movie quite boring, the songs go on for way too long and it just loses momentum at parts.I will say i’m honestly not really a fan of animated stuff so this film is just not for me. The redeeming factor of this film is just how stunning the colouring choices are of this film, like when the gorge is turned to looking darker when we see mufasa’s body is so good and the changes in the sky, the use of sunsets/sunrises is just absolutely gorgeous and that opening scene just purely off of colour and energy is spectacular also the random references to club sandwiches and other foods that they just wouldn’t have made me laugh

oh how i love pretentious lesbian media!! holy wow i can see why this was tied for the Oscar!! the winners both had such different vibes but i have to say this one was maybe more up my street, its queer and yearning so all ready its just a masterpiece in my head, but adding some dystopia as well???? omg i'm in love. I have to say the reason this is not 5 stars is just because i would've loved some elaboration on the actual law around PDA and affection in general but that's me being pedantic, that ending was so emotional and i love that they put in both perspectives of the romance to show its depth p.s i just love the insinuation that the two things that stop PDA is public dismay and the taste of garlic, like god forbid people look past non minty breathe
