jesse pinkman you deserve your peace </3 god this was a hard watch at times. i have maternal instincts for jesse pinkman. i think the recent (ish) past haunting jesse was an interesting choice because personally i think that it doesn't make for the most exciting choice (sorry i just really hate todd) but it really does so much for his character and his ptsd. anyways jesse deserves the world, and i hate walter white for dragging him down so far (not that that's anything new from me tho). really solid, but doesn't really stand out when compared to the best episodes of breaking bad/better call saul. anyways by default i can't give it below 4 stars, but it's somewhere in between 3.5 and 4 only dragged down because of how good both series are. but, spoiler zone, those last 15 minutes... god. this was definitely best when it leaned into the universe already created if that makes sense. also, seeing jesse and walt together like old times HURT me.

i don't think i've ever seen this many gay people played by straight people in my LIFE three stars are for 10 year old kirsten dunst's acting only actually

watched this for my be gay do crime literature class (yes, that’s a real thing) and honestly was the babadook even in this for long enough to call him a queer villain and also isn’t the real villain just the mother herself the metaphor is smack dab in your face the whole time but i do think the execution of tension and the themes was really good. wasn’t scared at all though sorry, it just didn’t get under my skin. a lot of people in my australia study abroad from last semester said this was horrible and i completely disagree tho

i loved when they played boom clap 💚💜
