**Day 4 of watching queer movies for pride month!** > *“Time wasn’t right.*** ***It was moving too fast. I was 19, then I was 20 and then I was 21.*** ***Like chapters skipped over in a dvd. I told myself ‘this isn’t normal. This isn’t normal.** **This isn’t how life is supposed to feel.’”* Although I am not trans, I felt seen watching this. Not with my gender, but with my queer identity. I've spent all of my years growing up alone and isolated from the world. All I’ve known was rules my close-minded family thought me. l've always felt like I never really knew who I was. Like there was this chasm between me and the world around me, like I've never truly belonged here. Over the past couple years I've started to discover more of myself, shoveling dirt away to figure out what's beneath. Facing Obstacles like comphet and internalised homophobia. movies like this, an accepting community and friends have helped me figure out exactly where I belong. Although there’s still a lot I don’t know about myself, ill figure it out at my own pace :) There is still time. My rating is a bit low because i didn’t like the ending or the freaky monsters HAPPY PRIDE EVERYPONY!!!
