love u rahega sakshi pagli ❤️ aditya doesnt deserve all those efforts

my fav was the guy who did the mithun from kasam paida karnewale ki cameo

i started watching this around april with my mom but we never got around to finishing it together due to tight schedules, so i ended up finishing it alone today. i tried to read a translation of the diwan e ghalib i found online while watching, but i lost track more than just a few times. either way, this biography is probably the closest we may ever get to recreating ghalib's tragic life, and naseeruddin shah made it the most memorable one as well - his expressions and tone are exactly how i imagined ghalib's to be. as someone who likes to find emotion where there is none - although arguably there is nothing that doesn't contain emotion - the way ghalib's complex relationships with almost everybody in his life are portrayed really stuck with me, especially his relationship with nawab jaan. "आह को चाहिए इक उम्र असर होते तक कौन जीता है तिरी ज़ुल्फ़ के सर होते तक" it is always a little embarrassing for me to admit this but i have fallen for people i hardly know (or have seen) on more than one occasion of my life, and each time i believe they are the perfect muse for art i am never able to accurately create, be it through the means of writing or drawing. i am quite jealous of ghalib in that aspect at least, because he was able to realize if not all but a major portion of his being through his multiple "muses" over the course of his lifetime. our lives are mostly spent finding some sort of satiation with not being able to entirely grapple with the idea of our being, which is something that unsettled me often as a 10 year old. i've always tried to find something or someone that will get me closer to myself, even though i know it's a lost cause and i'm just doing too much. since the age of 12, i thought i was really miserable and philosophical, and i would associate myself with every film character who wept for reasons unknown to even themselves. then, when i was 14, i discovered rekhta and my life changed entirely. now i wasn't just an emo teenager who was miserable without a cause but one who also had multiple shers up my sleeve for situations i havent gotten myself into to this day. hopefully one day i will get the chance to say "था ज़िंदगी में मर्ग का खटका लगा हुआ उड़ने से पेश-तर भी मिरा रंग ज़र्द था" in a conversation whilst living in a predominantly white country and having a predominantly white friend group. i looked up the price of the vinyl for this soundtrack and all i can truly say is that i'm not getting it in this lifetime. to end the review off, another sher i really liked from the diwan: "कोई मेरे दिल से पूछे तिरे तीर-ए-नीम-कश को ये ख़लिश कहाँ से होती जो जिगर के पार होता" rip ghalib and zauq you would've loved 1v1s

this is the shit you think is gonna happen with your ex situationship from delhi who genuinely doesnt give a fuck about you
