Almost Famous

been a long time since i watched this like a decade long and at the time i wasnt really into movies like i am now and i got a lotta jumbled thoughts so lets lay em all out here anna paquin having a great lil part in this, finding forrester, and also being rogue in xmen was a crazy 2000. rogue maybe my first love she had me hooked when i first saw xmen. (rogue still top 2 xmen w nightcrawler for me but thats not relevant to this movie) “im the front man and youre the guitarist with mystique” (no xmen) hilarious stuff my girl running next to the bus to tell will about his moms call then getting smoked by the wall killed me. damn shitty setup almost fried my mans hand off tho so we had to bust down the gate. will chilling in the tub notes everywhere stressed out of his mind while the band-aids are posted up in the room the young man has his priorities in check but when they pull him out and their dancing around him on the bed and its just swapping back and forth between his and penny’s eyes THAT is cinema man thats what its all about thats why i love this shit.  then he wakes up and gotta put on his grown up voice for rolling stone w girls yapping all around him guy doesnt know what to think give them the WHAT AM I TO YOU speech cmon man bad move just take the laundry.  i love russell’s phone call with wills mom his lil “yes ma’am” as hes getting put in his place is great that woman really freaks people out.  $50 and a case of heineken is fucked up even by sleezy rockstar standards  then you got will confessing his love and going for a kiss while penny is off the quaaludes like jordan belfort in his white lambo cmon my guy you cant do that then hes just staring at her feet mesmerized in love while this chicks getting his stomach pumped in the bathtub hes really out of his mind.  then the entire plane sequence the best part of the movie everything comes out but the best is jimmy fallon telling everyone he killed a guy i was crying.  then penny the MVP of the movie sends russell over to wills house so he can finally get that interview what a perfect ending what a perfect movie  i like when a movie gets me typing up a nice long ramble of a review after that means it really hits.  one of the best of the 21st century its undeniable
