Inception
This is it. This is the film that made me fall in love with cinema back when I first watched it in 2020, the film I’ve probably seen the most times, the greatest film of all time in my eyes. It’s flawless. I haven’t seen it in years because I wanted to preserve it but they were screening it at the IMAX and obviously I had to see it. I genuinely don’t know how to word this review because words cannot describe just how much I love this movie…
The visuals. The cast. The acting. The most outstanding plot of all time. The sound by Hans Zimmer. I genuinely could not find a fault if I probed and picked apart this film for hours. I’ve seen it so many times but it just never ever gets old! Christopher Nolan deserves all the praise because no one else in the whole world could have done something as spectacular as this. It has style, substance, action, emotion, immersion. Cinema really did peak when this came out and nothing will ever amount to a movie like this. I don’t care how much I’m glazing it in this review because it’s perfect and I have so much love in my heart for this movie not only for its cinematic feats but for the way it opened up the beautiful world of cinema for me and influenced the way I look at film production. I often find myself watching a great movie and thinking “how does this compare to inception?” It’s the benchmark of perfection and is 100% a must watch for everyone
