Five Came Back

This made me want to rewatch “Its a Wonderful Life”,  after understanding the context in which it was made, it has to hit differently. Beyond that this is sort of a mess until the last segment where it all comes together and we see the internal struggle that each filmmaker went through manifest in their work, the struggle that was build up for 2 hrs, and its wonderful and cathartic to witness as an outsider and i can only imagine how it would have felt for the men concerned in the moment.
