Sing Sing

This movie is incredibly special to me. I can’t say that any movie that’s been able to draw out such heavy and raw emotions from me, as I’m not a crier during movies, yet this made me sob uncontrollably. The story told here is told with such tenderness and tact. This is the importance of the arts of allowing one to indulge and revel in their own creative spirit. A repressed spirit is subjugated! The boys deserve to make silly plays about it all! The boys the deserve freedom in the mundane! Fuck the prison industrial complex.
