understimulating. messy. classic horror film. i was taken aback why how many people call this a masterpiece or something bone-chilling. In MY opinion there was really nothing special in this movie, I expected more n maybeere had extremely high expectations because of some reviews but I shouldn't have because I felt like I was watching a free, old, horror movie on youtube, like one I'd watch when I was a kid. I'm not the biggest horror film watchers but I could definitely say this bought nothing unique or stuff that "causes goosebumps" on the table. I was dissapointed ngl.
The plot twist didn't feel like a twist too, it was easily expected. I watched the movie w other people and they too, immediately guessed the twist right as the mirror thing happened.
Overall, it just didn't give a complete feeling.
Nevertheless, the acting was definitely good, it's sad that I'd have to mess up my streak of watching good movies/good reviews (4 stars+) on letterboxd because of this movie💔
