Okay so Hot Rod?? Actually kinda a masterpiece in the most stupid, amazing way possible.
Rod is out here doing wild stunts like he’s in Fast & Furious, but in reality he just crashes into stuff and gets launched into trees And he takes it SO seriously, like he’s training for the Olympics. You can’t even hate he really believes in himself and lowkey that’s inspiring 😭 The humor is so dumb it circles back to genius. And his little crew?? Absolute weirdos but in the best way.
It’s not one of those try-hard movies that’s like “look at me I’m funny!” nah, it’s just effortlessly goofy, weird and fun. Like it doesn’t care about being perfect and that’s kinda the charm.
Anyway you have to watch it.
