Titane

This is incredible. The most challenging watch I’ve ever done. Would never recommend this to anybody, any sane person would stroke out in the first 20 minutes. Sooooo if you watch this, let it be on your own accord and not because of my review. It’s as body horror as it is family drama as it is lesbian nightmare as it is self-acceptance. But oh my god I am floored. So many cool ideas, so tasteful, so fresh. If you ever feel like movies are getting dull, turn this on. I audibly gasped, held my hands over my eyes, sat up in my chair, laid back in thought, every emotion I could feel. It’s intentionally visceral in its imagery and intentionally a challenging watch, but oh it’s worth it. The highs are unbelievably high, lows are earth-shattering. The tagline doesn’t do it any justice. A one-of-a-kind story told in a one-of-a-kind way with one-of-a-kind acting using one-of-a-kind camerawork. Fucking floored, absolutely fucking floored
