I liked how the storyline came out well written and beautifully presented. The performances of both the leads were impressive it hit me to the core. I went in all blind I didn't even know that i might cry and damn I cried ugly.. also I didn't expect that rémi will be dying too soon into the film and when that scene came I felt it in my gut.. I did not see that coming! I thought it was misunderstanding between little boys and they will over come it eventually but remi wasn't thinking that.. he was hurt by the distance leo was making between em and didn't know how to handle that so he decided to end it all.. first half was more intense and maybe interesting about how they were trying to figure everything out.. their feelings, their relationship, their masculinity.. it was all so beautiful but the last half was better in my opinion.. going in through grief and the fact it never goes away.. you just carry it on and live with it.
The scene where leo pissed himself was awfully painful.. he kept blaming himself for everything happened and never reached out for anyone.. just kept bottling it up till it choked him at some point bc he didn't know how to handle the loss just like how remi didn't know how to handle the distance.
Truly devastating and amazing.
My eyes are puffed I'm not even joking I really loved it so much even tho I will never be rewatching.
