layla’s character was so well depicted. i could feel the chaos in her mind. this gap between her beliefs and her decisions- it made sense. esp in a society that (was and still) stigmatizes women for utter bullshit. i went into this movie thinking it’s gonna be another cliche love story and i was glad to find out that it’s alot deeper than that. i loved that it wasnt only centered around a relationship but rather around layla and her inner conflicts. i gotta admit tho i was swooooooninggg over hussein and all his love letters. oh god love letters are my weakness. anyway, everyone should watch this movie at least once in their life. or twice  or maybe annually  wheres my fuckass soulmate bruh😔
