Ghost World

two nihilistic and bored teenage girls entertain themselves at the expense of the locals lol they both gravitate towards the weird they both can’t stand the people around them they both want an apartment  one decides to grow up and the other can’t leave the past I see myself in Enid because I use to be just like her A dumb, selfish kid who only wants the world to work her way, passing by every opportunity shown her way because she either can’t be bothered or it goes too much against the tenants she lives by. Wanting to run away from everything and everyone and just disappear. Her world is tiny. It doesn’t go beyond her and it doesn’t go beyond the town. An American town trying to emulate itself. Unfortunately we all gotta grow up. We can’t cling on to how things use to be. That’s how you become a ghost. Unable to move on from your past life. But it takes time to grow. Take the trip out of town if you need to. out of your own world.
