Anora
kinda opened my eyes more than I expected the whole movie feels like getting dragged into someone else’s family drama what got me the most depressed was Igor. It being his birthday while he spent the whole movie dealing with everyone else’s problems made me sad. That last scene hurt because he’s trying to connect with her in a real way, and she doesn’t know how to accept kindness without feeling like she owes something back.Ivan is sad too because he still feels like a kid avoiding responsibility. He has money and freedom but zero maturity, so everything stays a game to him until people get hurt.( it doesn't excuse how fucked up he is) Anora spends the whole movie trying to seem in control, but little by little her dignity gets stripped away until she finally breaks down.
