Vinland Saga

season 1 and 2 are like night and day… couldn’t be more different. yet that’s the point…  the story of a boy who watched his father die who in that moment, filled with rage, swore he would kill anyone who was to do with the death of his father. Filled with anger and passion we watch Thorfinn turn from a child into a murdering machine, abused and taken advantage of by many who seek violence as a solution. He later is separated from his life as a warrior and the coin drops as both Thorfinn and the watcher realise the futility of war and the idea that no one really has enemies. People change and farms need tending too. it teaches a lesson of warriorhood and the idea that revenge leads to a journey that often changes a persons ideas and experiences. my words don’t do this justice and the characters are all deep and reflect parts of Thorfinn as he adapts and changes. Cant imagine this any better  this is cinema 👏
