Rewatching this after being Summer-ed and I can firmly say that they’re both bad people, but they’re also not. Tom projected this fantasy of who Summer was onto her and knew how she felt about relationships and still tried to change her mind, but Summer was fully leading him on, and making him think that his attempts were working even though they weren’t. But what makes neither of them bad people is that neither had bad intentions. Tom wasn’t projecting on purpose and only wanted to love her, and Summer wasn’t trying to hurt him and made her boundaries clear from the beginning. It showed us that people are flawed, and in real life there are no truly good or bad people. The ending was brilliant, I love how their story ended with them both being happy and living the lives they deserve, and that their relationship made them both change for the better.

PHM had me playing with the idea that Ryan Gosling is sexy as hell, and this movie really solidified it for me.

This movie is so… girl who’s gonna be okay

God tells us to love everyone, even the whores and the homosexuals… but it’s just so hard! They make it so hard because they just keep ***doing it*** all the time!
