Whiplash

some of these scenes were just as hard to watch the second time but damn is the entire film from start to finish an impressive one. from being shot all in 19 days to make you fully realize how far andrew will go to be successful and how far fletcher will go to make him be successful. albeit fletcher was definitely getting his revenge at the end but eventually you see his face understand that wait wait andrew is fucking doing it and now that’s what I always get from fletcher’s smile at the end, becoming someone’s worst nightmare in order to push themselves to a moment of greatness. unethical as fuck but was amazing to see it play out
