1917
1917 is a very good war movie. The main thing that makes it stand out is how it looks like it was filmed in one long shot. It makes the movie feel very intense and realistic.
The story is simple: two British soldiers must deliver a message to stop an attack. If they don’t make it in time, many soldiers will die. It’s easy to follow and always exciting.
The acting is strong, especially from George MacKay. The movie looks great, the sound is good, the original score by Thomas Newman is great, and it's very realistic. There are many tense moments and it never feels boring.
Overall, 1917 is a well-made and exciting film that is worth watching.
