it's my third time watching this. it got popular on tiktok since the last time i've watched it so i thought maybe it'll be better the third time. maybe. but jesus fucking christ it still sucks. simon is still a weird piece of shit, the parents weird me out too, the song also sucks????? "music boyfriend i'm your yum yum"????? you're telling me people love this movie?? i remember watching it the first time being so excited to watch it and being heavily disappointed. it's like watching an alien whos seen superbad or some shit write a romantic comedy. it's like giving an edgy 15 year old film kid a high budget to make a feature film. you can tell they only made this movie with the sequence of them in the arcade with the mac demarco song in mind. i will never understand this movie, maybe i don't have the sense of humor for it. i hate hate hate HATE this movie.
