Burning
A movie that plays all its cards really well.
Every scene is like half a puzzle/half a painting. Leaves you to create your own interpretations of some of the more obscure scenes. It gets really eerie from a certain point and strangely enough I find a lot of comfort in that.
It also gives a pretty great commentary on the consequences of dating "the wrong person".
From Shin Hae-mi's perspective, Ben was the wrong to date because ben was ultimately violent and ended up killing her.
From Lee Jong-su's perspective, Hae-mi was the wrong person do date, because she ended up getting with Ben; a very small concequence in contradiction to Hea-mi's fate.
