As someone who ADORES the stage version, I found it a little harder to get into this one. With that being said, it was AMAZING. Fosse’s direction is just stunning and the parallels between the Kit Kat Club and the outside world are just stellar. Highlights of the film are definitely Joel Grey and Liza Minnelli. INSANE PERFORMANCES by both!!

Pretty solid opening, it had me hooked right away. And the head pop? Absolutely insane. Stephen Lack’s acting is so bad it borders on hilarious. And yet… somehow, it’s incredibly boring? The effects are solid, and the score is actually beautiful, I just wish the rest of the movie lived up to its moments.

When the movie’s so absurd you have to watch it again the next day so your dad can see it too

ABSOLUTE HORROR MOVIE OF A PLOT. I loved it though can’t lie
