Frame after frame of the some of the most beautiful and unsettling visuals I have ever seen. Theater on screen. Fluorescents and neons and shadows. The artistic vision in this is so singular, I’ve never seen anything like it. Ancient feeling of dread that builds in the pit of your stomach that you can’t exactly put your finger on. Everything and everyone feels so wrong, but it looks so good that you can’t stop watching. Lovecraftian without the eldritch monsters. Completely bizarre and nonsensical and just enough of a plot to keep it on track. I want so much more of this world.
