are people born wicker, or do they have wickerness thrust upon them?

this movie has consumed every single one of my brain cells

what an unbelievably beautiful, tender, and devastating film. the storyline of all three men was so compelling and so artfully woven together as they were being told concurrently. i was so equally invested in all three that i was content with whichever character the story turned to. the beauty and agony of each of these queer stories was just incredibly moving and significant. without a doubt one of the most beautifully shot films I’ve ever seen, the camera angles and shots were stunning breathtakingly. there’s also so much symbolism throughout this film, such as carlos wearing white before going to the casino, but black in the scene afterwards. and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the incredible use of music throughout this film. absolutely sensational score and music selections. just such a stunning piece of art visually and audibly. absolutely an Oscar frontrunner for me.
