This film was beautiful. Although for a lot of it, you could say it was a film where 'nothing really happens', there was a definite sense of foreboding sprinkled throughout. I think I especially loved this film as I could relate to both Mescal's character, and Corio's character, being in both of their positions at different times. The acting was absolutely superb, and the cinematography was outstanding. The close-ups of the actors made this so much more human, and made you really feel connected to them and their plights, reminding us that there is something deep within them. Genuinely, an incredibly beautiful film.
