Five minutes intó *Spaceballs* on *Best of Cinema*, and I'm still not sure if that was a movie or a collective fever dream. What the hell just happened? Some of the jokes were so fucking good that I still can't help but smile at them.

After finishing Chapter 1 of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, I had to rewatch this. And yeah, that Batmobile chase still has absolutely no right going this hard. Doesn’t matter if I’m watching it in a theater or at home, it gets me every single time. The sound design, the build-up, the reveal of the Batmobile itself… pure cinema. At this point, replaying Batman games and rewatching Batman movies has turned into a full-blown Batman marathon. Still one of my favorite Batman films.

My copy of Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight finally arrived today, so before jumping into the game I had to rewatch The Lego Batman Movie. And honestly? I still love pretty much everything about this movie. The jokes still land, Batman is hilarious, and the animation is just pure fun from start to finish. Also, the soundtrack had absolutely no business being this good. Some of these songs have been sitting in my playlist for years. One of those movies I can always come back to.
