Heat

This is one of the coolest films I’ve ever seen. There is so much going on, and the three hour runtime feels like two. From what I’ve seen, this is both Pacino’s and De Niro’s best performance, atleast they’re my favorites. Even though I like De Niro more than Pacino overall, in this film Pacino outshines De Niro. I mean what an incredible performance. The diner scene was just amazing, the dialogue was so interesting and engaging to listen to. Two men on opposite sides of the law, just taking. Who would’ve thought?😅 I was so invested in the story, and it just got better by every minute that passed. This is the first Micheal Mann film I’ve seen, and I was very positively overwhelmed. I know people really love this, but I did not expect to love it as much as I ended up doing.  It’s gonna be really interesting to see what Micheal Mann is cooking up for the sequel. After the ending in the first film, it’s gonna be a hard task to reach the same heights. If anyone is going to it though, it has to be him. Fantastic film! Definitely recommend for those who are late to the party just like I was!
