This film is so amazing, I love it so much. It’s so well shot and directed. Joaquin Phoenix’s acting is great, I really am a sucker for this guy, he just lights such a great spark in every film I see him in, even those film’s that aren’t as memorable as others, he still puts in a great performance. The atmosphere and colors are stunning, and it’s a very well paced film. The music fits so well, and it’s so captivating to listen to. Easily one of my favorite romances, and honestly just one of my favorite films in general.  This film, deserved so many more Oscars. One of the categories it was nominated for was best production design. The Great Gatsby won said category, I don’t remember alot about The Great Gatsby, what I do remember however, is that It visually looked pretty awful. Such a shame. Her is a motion picture masterpiece!
