Alien

I was aware of this movie for a long time but never had a solid plan on watching it because, in all honesty, I thought I would not like it because of its age. But a friend highly recommended it to me so O decided to give it a watch and was shocked at just how much I loved it. It maybe its way into my top favorite movies. It has a very enjoyable cast of characters, the main character being my favorite. I really liked how the man protagonist was a strong, smart female lead. The movie also featured a few twist that had genuinely caught me off guard and had me on the edge of my seat. I did initially think that the movie would lean more horror, but, for me, it was more so sci-fi (not at all a complaint). Would definitely recommend!
