“The book says, we might be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us." this quote is the heart and soul of this film. I came into this expecting a fun thriller but was left with pain, the greatest casting ever, and a score that’ll never leave my mind. from the first 10 minutes i knew i was in store for a cinematic experience, that intro scene followed up with Aimee Mann’s rendition of “one” was fucking cinema. following multiple characters is a task that can get out of hand quickly but it’s navigated very well and by the end you understand why the decision was made. lastly thank you Paul Anderson for introducing me to Aimee Mann.
