The Royal Tenenbaums

Though Grand Budapest Hotel is his best, and Rushmore is my favorite. This movie is the perfect encapsulation of Wes Anderson's style. Between the tight dialogue, quick transitions, and scenes that feel perfectly symmetrical, this movie was a clear breakout for him and simply an incredible film. Learning about each character is so interesting, and the movie does an incredible job of balancing its lightheartedness with its darkest themes. I really loved this one.
