Boring, no thrill, disappointing. Jim go back to Pam.

** If you don’t know the original story, you will LOVE this movie. **Don’t get me wrong, this movie had me engaged for every minute. The visuals were stunning. The score was brilliant. Most of the acting was perfect. Great production. But what’s holding me back so much, is the inaccuracies and the KEY details left out. Especially because they would’ve been SO easy to include and they are extremely crucial to the story. Specifically, in the scene with the Cyclops, arguably the most famous part of the original story, is that Odysseus ‘befriends’ the cyclops and when they attack the Cyclops, he asks “Who hurt me?” and Odysseus says his name is Nobody, that leads to the Cyclops declaring “Nobody hurt me!” “Nobody is killing me!” which is how they escape. But in the movie, it’s basically presumed that they all know the Cyclops was a ‘Son of Poseidon’ and that’s why he was against them in the journey away on the sea. Also, the ship they use a Viking and not a Greek one. This is a lot of yap, but I feel strongly about this. BUT, this movie did make me realise even more just how much I love movies and the cinema!

The awkwardness, the sibling dynamic between Ricky and Aiko. The writers and actors did a great job. I also loved the colour grading and the production.
