Parasite

I love going into movies blind. I went into this expecting a horror, maybe similar to Cure, but it was completely different and I loved it. Such a perfect mix of tension and comedy, has amazing messaging too. I really liked the ending as well, I definitely think him buying the house was just a fantasy as it loops back in to what the dad said about plans never working. The way the movie highlights the differences between the lower and upper class is also so unique. Both physically through the use of stairs and also through the characters’ actions such as Yeon-ko saying “the rain was a blessing” when it literally destroyed the main characters’ neighborhood. There’s so much I could talk about here, but I’m sure whatever I have to say is not original. Amazing movie, RESPECT 🗿 9.8
