really raised jack and i’s spirits post automobile accident i stopped keeping up with the mcu after loki because i missed my old hero’s too much. but this felt like i was 11 again. also ned my goat, bruce my goat, and the ending crowd scene genuinely had me tearing up

good movie for 8am on a tuesday morning

while it was cool to see the stories i’ve grown up with on screen, this movie is one of the worst things i have seen in a while. i HATE that they replaced “xenia” with zeus rule like the audience are first graders who need this shit spelled out for them. i HATE that they botched poseidons role in the story i HATE the land of the lotus eaters snub i HATE that they seemingly didint know hades was a person and treated him like a place, and when they got to that place, it was some fucked up inaccurate version of the fields of asphodel. i HATE that they made odysseus unfunny. the man is SO FUNNNNY WHY WOULD YOU LOBOTOMIZE HIM i HATE that they rewrote the olive tree bed into some fucking pendant. and fuck you im not putting a spoiler warning this shits 3000 years old you’ve had time
