This movie did a lot of things really well that are easy to mess up. I love how they didn’t go into too much technical detail about how the OSs actually work, which made it easy to suspend any disbelief. The human-OS relationships felt real, deep, and not at all cringy. Also they did a cool job animating unique looking software whenever that appeared. Overall a beautiful and engaging story that brings up some very interesting convos about love and relationships. Also props for a unique take on “AI getting out of control” without making the AI want to destroy humans and take over the world.
