i love everything abt this movie. as a shakespearien girl i’m touched by it to the depths of my soul. i can’t express how much i adore it. genuinely one of the best movies i’ve watched recently. the setting, the cast, the story… just perfect. jessie buckley totally deserved that oscar. she also deserved it “men” but didn’t get it. so, i guess waiting paid off. LOVE LOVE LOVE THE INCORPORATION OF A STORY OF ORPHEUS & EURYDICE INTO THE NARRATIVE. DIVIIIIIIIIINE. (greek mythology’s usage in movies is my roman empire. simply my heart starts pouncing when i hear or see smth related to it heh) also obviously i was really interested about this film being about how hamlet was supposedly made ‘cause it’s one of my fav poems by shakespeare (after a midsummer night’s dream). so, yeah. 5 outta 5!! amazing, brilliant!!
