Look Back

I think back on my childhood and how it could relate to how they were when they were younger. I found myself seeing similarities to both of the characters. The idea of wanting to get better and shutting yourself out because you start to absorb yourself with the idea of wanting to improve so much in your style. It’s why I never had a lot of friends growing up, and why I was bullied so much in school, purely because “I was different and had different interests” from the mass majority of my peers. I felt very seen in my younger artist self all those years back. But it hit a lot more when seeing how difficult it was for Kyomoto coping with social anxiety, which is why it was super sad to see her finally getting out of her own comfort zone, and led to an unfortunate outcome
