It's actually a good film, but something's missing. The soundtrack is solid. The performances are great. The cinematography is great. But the pacing could be better. And honestly, the theatrical version is better than the director's cut.

A truly brilliant film that is often forgotten. Robert De Niro is simply fabulous in this role. It's crazy that Rupert was still able to become a successful comedian with his Murray Franklin show. 😁

This opinion is probably unpopular, but I find the film worlds better than the original... it's a shame that Jake Gyllenhaal hasn't taken on a character-study role in a long time. We need more psychological films with him again.

I have no idea what to write about this. It was simply boring and didn't entertain me at all. What a shame.
