Sunshine

This movie was recommended to me by my mom, who’s supposedly pro-life and a devout Catholic—and yet people have the gall to say that films like these aren’t political, influential, and necessary. I’m loving this continuous pattern i’m noticing on today’s Filipino films—the one that criticizes our government/society’s hypocrisy and their hopeless cling to their Catholicism as if it’ll save them from their so-called ‘pits of hell’.
