American Psycho

Absolutely thrilling the whole way through oh my days. Bale absolutely kills it, and can shift seamlessly between the guise of Bateman, and his true, disgusting personality. It keeps you engaged and guessing until the last shot, and holy shit is this beautifully shot, looks unbelievable at points. They capture the 80s aesthetic better than anything I’ve ever seen. Also I completely forgot how memed this movie is, like every other scene has a really popular meme. The business cards, him listening to music, killing paul allen, him staring at the camera, “why not you stupid bastard” Truly great stuff, I love Mary Harron 9/10
