I had high hopes for this movie, which I’d been hearing about for a long time, and I expected more. The movie is still good—it tackles themes that are characteristic of Lynch’s life and our society—but I was expecting something more… more, idk.

Season 1 : yeah, mid but let’s see… (2.5 ⭐️) Season 2 : ok Lynch, ok. (4.5 ⭐️) = 3.5 ⭐️

I don't know what to say. It's a perfect film in terms of what it tells and what it concludes. Lynch, the more time passes, the more I kneel in front of your greatness.

Second viewing of The Odyssey at the theater, and yes, my rating has gone down. I like this movie—3.5 ⭐️ is still a good rating—but the flaws I noticed on my first viewing have become more pronounced, while the strengths I saw have diminished. Some scenes are excellent, but others seemed much less interesting and immersive to me. I liked some of the dialogue better, but most of it pulled me out of the movie even more. I liked some of the shots better, but most of them disappointed me even more. This second viewing went by much more quickly and was easier to sit through, but it wasn’t any less engaging. Oppenheimer remains Nolan’s best movie, no question.
